Students are provided a variety of learning opportunities that introduce them to the world of science. Cooperative learning, hands-on science lessons and activities are planned to expose students to the scientific method as well as integrating reading, writing, and math skills whenever possible. Topics of study include: the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly (mini unit), magnets, force and motion, weather/climates, heredity and traits of organisms and fossils.
